McMaster, or, if you can find it locally, get it locally. If you don't drive or all you can find are crappy drain fittings, resort to McMaster.

I always get what I can locally, then order from McMaster. Learned that lesson after I collected all my bills from old Carr and added em up. Jeez was that a shock!

McMaster is cheaper than John Deere.

It probably doesn't matter to most of you guys but when you need specialty parts like I do, McMaster is the best place. There is everything that you will ever need on McMaster (except plugs for some reason). They are relatively cheap, extremely reliable and fast.

I have found that The Depot actually carries pressure fittings up to 2" and not just tees, elbows, and couplers. I'm talking adapters too. That's rare.

My favorite local hardware store of all time is still Menards though. They really have the best selection I have ever seen at a local hardware store. (I'm not counting John Deere.)

Yeah if you need pressure rated fittings look online. But the probably is gort that 2" fittings don't do much unless you want to have a 2" chamber. And whats all this about John Deere?

What I said. Find what you can locally and then get the rest off McMaster.

I need a series of steel fittings between 1/4" - 1-1/4" rated to 3,000 PSI. Think they have those locally? No. But McMaster does.

But am I gonna order a bunch of 1/2" class 150 steel fittings from McMaster when I can just go to the store and get em without paying shipping, (and getting them cheaper)?

Shipping from McMaster is extremely cheap. It's usually like $4 which is generally negligable when getting a couple items.

Look in your phone book under landscaping and/or irrigation to find a John Deere store. Call and ask about their PVC selection. If they don't have what you need in stock they will order it for you with no shipping charge and it will be there in a day or 2. They carry SDR-21 1.5" on a regular basis. They have a full selection of 2.5" fittings. They have street elbows, odd reducers, (all PW) weirde threaded stuff. JD is amazing.

You should go to the store in person and set up an account with them. You might not get as lucky as I did. I believe I got a contractor's account and I can get stuff relatively cheap.

I just bought a 4" slip tee, nfs-pw, pressure rated off this site. they tell you the ratings of all the fittings. the shipping is pretty reasonable, and very reliable. the stuff arrives when they tell you.

No, John Deere Landscaping places have irrigation supplies. The tractor places have tractor things and only that as far as I've seen.
