You would'a lost your cash. It works flawlessly, I've shot about 20 times, and there's no signs of wear'n'tear. :D

Nope. It disappeared. I opened up the valve and it was gone completely. :lol:

I think it probably stayed sealed to the barrel when the piston actuated and was shot out with the potato. :cry:
It was too flexible for one screw to hold, evidently. The piston came out with the screw still in it, just with an eighth of an inch sticking out, where the silicone disc was.

I reckon a dirty great bolt, a massive washer and a crapload of epoxy will fix that just fine.
