My ammo list-
potato's(of course)
golfballs
cross-bow bolts
arrows
bb's
paintballs
drum sticks(FS-2)
lead
water
spit-balls
marbles
dirt
and a wide variety of out dated food
But...My favorite is probably the Toypedo. Give the fins a little twist, and the Toypedo turns into a real missle(2 inch diameter barrel). Heck of a kick though. I'm working on making it semi-auto, but that's a bit bulky.

I drilled a half in pvc barrel with an 11/16's wood bit attached to a three ft. allthread .I welded a bit adapter to the allthread and I came out with a 4' barrel , It shoots marbles through plywood and even a license plate. I put a tee at t he breech end and a tube with a hole drilled in it so I could load it at the front end , before gluing on the tee , slipped in a rubber oring that requires a little pressure for the marble to get through ,that way I can aim downward without my ammo falling out..I use a cut out coupler over the loading mechanism to keep the air from escaping. If I use continuous air and tilt the loader just right it will act as a semi auto. A 21/32 drill bit would have been a closer size to the marbles but I could only find that in a round type bit and it was 32 dollars plus tax because it's an odd size. I can get marbles at dollar tree for a dollar a bag ,A bag has 102 ,two of the marbles are much bigger than the other 100 and they fit well in a 1" barrel.

ive shot a 2 1/2 pound lug bolt wraped with electical tabe at a board, and it droped short, hit the ground, bouced up spinning insanlyfast and went all the way through my dads airplane hanger wall. i thought he was gunna kill me but instead he thought it was awsome that my cannon had that much power. (be careful when using heavy ammo like this it has a tendensy to rip through things like steel!!!)

Trailer Hitch ball; Extreamly distructive

Oranges; (I have an orange tree) Good ammo if you have a large barrel

Battery; Make a slug our of a D battery by wrapping it with electrical tape

Rocks and Socks (my friend's favorite) Stuff rocks into a sock until it will fit in your barrel then let the rocks fly.

Calking Tubes (a guest suggestion on my website) Fits in a 2" barrel

Frozen Fruit/Potato

Rebar (guest suggestion) This is messed up but cool; load a potato and put a 3' long peice of rebar in after. This is pretty much a weapon so don't be dumb, it will go through metal

There are lots of other stuff I've listed on my website. Some of them I can't post here (like the dry ice bomb) as they don't want any explosive projectiles listed.

Yall need to try super balls... you know the little 1 in diameter ones that are easy to shake out of quarter games. I covered one in lotion for lubrication and shot it at a brick wall from about 30 feet. the ball bounced over my backyard fence, 50 feen away, and the last i heard of it was brushing a tree on the other side of the street. (heads up, dont use this one in populated areas!)

Theres a guy who had to make a potato gun for the american department of agriculture. The gun had two shoot 8 foot long 2 by 4s 100 feet. The whole thing was for tornado testing. Pics herehttp://www.spudtech.com/. So add 8 foot 2by 4s to the list of ammo

light bulbs are a very kool thing to shoot especially torchs at night time you can see them and where they go through the air looks awesome!!!!! also cds. i fire all the cds i can get from the tip!!! them fly through the air like frisbees then smash up on impact!!!!! also try tinned food, its cheap to get and comes in a rage of different shaped and sizes! try to get creamy or runny food as it bursts everywhere on impact. watever you do never try aerosol cans!!!!!!! :( :( :( they caine like hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!seriosly though.

The best ammo I have ever used has to be a golf ball in a expanda foam chassis. you get a nice thick slab of expanda foam, then cut pieces out according to your barrel, then hollow them out and insert a golf ball so it won't drop out. The foam chassis just brakes as soon as it leaves the barrel, I could not even see the golf ball. With a basic combustion spudgun this can put a hole through a stop sign.
