do you have a welder? if so you could weld two correct size washers to the nails
your right nails i s a p.i.t.a. to get wax without breaking though unless you know the secret (hint it has to do with heating the nail up and then sticking it though the wax) ....hope no one figures it out from my hintSpecialist wrote:@ homedepotpro that idea seems flawed. even though you have picture it probably wouldnt work well. i have tried sticking a nail in wax and it shattered every where. but you might be doing it differently than im thinking you are.

well from what i know they had to be, do they spin during its flight trajectory? i suppose its because the tail has more drag than the noseSpecialist wrote:the nose doesnt always need to be lighter than the tail. this is what i use for my ballon gun and some minis and it goes close to 35 yards. its just a tooth pick and electrical tape.

yes and 99% of the time its a perfect spiral. and i guess thats why im getting such good results with these darts. and i will soon be making industrial darts for big combustions and pneumatics.
