ok basically i know how a piston works i searched the wiki and everything

[air goes in behind piston piston seals barrel rest of air goes into chamber...squeeze blowgun created a vaccuum pulls piston against pilot air goes from chamber to barrel...]

but i need a good diagram of it and i have nothing to draw it on...my dad is gonna help me build it at his shop but he needs a diagram to build it with me...he doesnt quit understand how to build it....

specs..

1. it is going to be a double chamber fire extinguisher gun and is going to be kinda like this
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4650&

2. it is going to be like that but with 1" piping and using only 1 port and a homemade piston...

all i need is a diagram of the inside of a psiton valve sitting in a tee so he understands...if u need to see the gun i will draw a diagram of how it is going to look in a bit..post if u do and if u want to draw a diagram

Here is a pic of the guts of a supah: You can see where the piston seals the chamber on the right side of the piston. Imagine this inside a T and you've got it. I am weary of posting this pic and I don't want to exploit any further what Joel and others have done.

heh, so thats what the inside of a supah looks like. i was thinking of a totally different design. i wont ask anymore bout the workings of the valve, but my question is, how did you get that pic? do you have a supah?

I got the pic from spudfiles, someone posted it a while back. I knew it would be a keeper so I saved it.
I do not have a supah... yet. I am currently making some of my own and experimenting on tweaking different areas of the valve. If I could just finish my other projects first... this is not a priority on the wife's honey-do list.

I took the pic off so as not to offend those with an unaligned ethical compass.
Honestly, if you you can't use a nice picture of the guts of a great supah to get an idea how to build one, you shouldn't mess with it. Do you really need someone to draw a picture with all the parts labeled along with the specs, tolerances, sizes of o-rings, tension of spring(s), air speed of an unladen swallow, number of screws, weight of hollowed-out pvc stock/piston, dia. of bore for pilot, etc.
With all the research you did, it should be pretty self-explanatory with a picture and then with the diagram schmanman provided.
