which is better for combustion launchers

curved chamber or chamber in-line with barrel

chamber bigger than barrel or same size diameter

chamber same length or shorter

NOTE FROM PIMPMANN22: I de-cap locked your subject. No need to cap lock seeing as its already got "[Poll]" in white letters in front of it.

In-Line definetly. If the chamber were the same size there would be no choke point but, you'd have a really long chamber. Go with a bigger chamber. Chamber volume should be about 1.5 times greater than the barrel's volume. I'm sure someone here would like to explain that.

I once experimented with a combustion that had the same size chamber and barrel. Believe me it was lousy. The chamber needs to be ,in my opinion ,at or near twice the size of the barrel to have any performance. The only exception I have to that is that my tennis ball barrel 2.5" works well with a 4" chamber.
