Do you mean the propane? If so you don't, you buy new ones, there only like $3-4.

ooo, but then how do you put on the propane adapter when the tank is full?

P.S where can you get these? like homedepot? or lowes?

The adapter threads on, there is a valve in there like a paint ball tank, it wont open unless you screw on the tank to the valve. You can get them anyweres, HD, Lowes, Ace Hardware, plumbing places etc
