It'd be pretty cheap and easy for you to just redo the gun. At lowes you can get 3" PVC for about $4. 2 elbows, sleeve with a 3-1 1/2" reducer, a 3" threaded cap and some 1 1/2" PVC will cost you less than $15.

Eh, I don't know I've seen how thin that stuff can be and the way you have your meter tapped into the chamber would make me nervous, I know first hand how powerful a gun with almost your exact size can be and it's not something I would want to take a chance with. Smaller does not mean weaker and certainly not less dangerous!

Also there are websites you can order PVC from if you can't find it locally.

Dude starman, that avatar or icon you use is freakin crazy as hell man. Just the size of the explosions in relation to the sizes of the ship's cannons is totally insane. Now THATS some pressure rated shit right there!!! Pardon the laguage. Its a wonder the whole ship doesn't tip over.

That's an Iowa class battleship shooting full broadside salvos of the big 16" guns. Yeah 16" is the caliber!! If you like that, you'll love this!
