Name: -
Method of operation: Muzzle-loaded combustion
Propellant: Butane + athmosphere gas
Ignition: Single spark gap piezo igniter
Safety(s): Safety/fire switch
Chamber: Pill bottle
Ammunition: 1x 6mm (.20 gram) -or- 5x 6mm (.12 gram) bb's
Velocity: Estimated 300-350 fps, with .20 gram 6mm bb
Accuracy:
-1x 6mm (.20 gram): 0.5 inch groupings at 10-15 yards
-5x 6mm (.12 gram): 1.25 inch groupings at 7.5-10 yards
Length: About 104 cm, or 40 inches
Barrel:
-About 74.5 cm, or 29 inches
-Aluminium
-Unrifled
-ID of about 6.2mm
-Loaded bb sits in rubber ring
-Slight bend gives it natural hop-up
Sights/Scope: Some kind of scope (with cross hairs) used to aim a bigger telescope at stars. Magnification about 1.5-2x, but everything is projected upside down (which sucks)

Notes:
I'm pretty darn happy with the results as it's pretty much a glorified mini spudgun. It shoots fast, accurate, is nice to hold, just awesome. :D
Bb's don't simply roll out and you don't need any wadding as well. Just blow one down the barrel until it gets stuck in the rubber ring and add some butane.
Firing multiple .12 gram bb's is just plain hot; bb's don't spread all over the place but keep flying in a nice tight package for yards. I guess it's because of the long barrel.
It can shoot trough CD's, boxes, some plastic containers and chip some of the harder plastics. And being able to hit match boxes at literally 10-15 yards in the center is so very cool! :D
What I'm also really satisfied with is the trigger. Not a small stupid piezo that'll start hurting your fingers if you use it for too long. Just a nice, comfortable, trigger-shaped thingy. It also has a safety lever!
Stock was made from some scrap wood I had around, and everything held together by those plastic straps. The sling is originally a guitar sling and attaches very nicely. Overal weight is estimated about 0.75 kg, very light.

Some stuff I shot with it:

I'll probably upload some more and more clear images soon.

Tell me what you think, some feedback would be nice! :D

Nice gun, maybe work on a better stock for next time, but if it suits you, that is great!

I agree with the fact the stock is a little more than less than perfect, but Overall, Its sweet. I like it.

Hehe thanks.
Yeah the stock is basicly just a wooden bar + some triangle shaped piece of wood. Maybe, if I have some time, I might make a new one.

Thats pretty cool, its kind of ghetto but not quite :P

maybe you could develop the idea into a hybrid BB sniper rifle with a 'proper' stock, and a porper scope? that would be sick

I made a post asking about poaring stocks out of resin and fiberglass and the replys were very useful, maybe it will help you. And Rag made some great stocks too and this one guy made a post about his customized stocks.

@aliisgreat:Can you acctually make a scope?

Quick answer: No. Scopes are usually construced out of extremely prescise glass lenses and stuff. Buying one is your best bet.

You could TECHNICALLY make one that "sort of" works, but a store bought scope will outdo even the best of your creations (most likely). Even a 20 dollar one.

Nice gun. It's a little bit ghetto for my taste, but it works. Thats pretty good damage for a pill bottle gun. Are you metering the butane in any way? If so how?

I'm using a mini blow torch. It mixes air and butane itself so I'm pretty much always getting a right mix.

How about u go totally getto and make a "rocket launcher" from that, i do not this it would be too much work to change the gun a little...No i am not being serious, it is a nice gun you made and you can be proud of it seeing you have limited supplies, good work and work on a better stock when you get the time to do so. Look at the post: "POURING STOCKS" for info about making a stock out of resin and fiberglass

I think you should replace the pill bottle with a pvc chamber. It would be a little safer and give it a cleaner look.

You could also just build another gun altogether, better chamber, barrel stock what ever, that is if your finaces allow you to do so.

Yeah I made it because I just had the parts around. But the concept works so I might as well make some high-quality one some day.

Exactly my point, it seems to have potential hahaha
