Heres my first gun.

Specs:

Material: Cellcore ABS SCH40, DWV ABS fittings & SCH40 PVC ball valve

Chamber: 4" X 17"
Barrel: 2" X 43"
C:B Ratio: approx 1.5:1
Meter Pipe: 0.5" ID x 12" L
PSI Operating Range: 55-60
Chamber Fan: 80mm Vantec Tornado!!
Exhaust Valve: 2" Ball Valve
Ignition: 150,000V Stun Gun
Spark Gaps: 3

Extras/details: Removable chamber end for fan access
Rubber/Foam grips
Momentary Pushbutton Trigger
Fan switch atop propane storage pipe
Fan batteries stored inside propane storage pipe

This gun has power, at least in my inexperienced opinion. Lemons all but vanish from sight completely and it has a really loud report with considerable recoil! Much fun indeed. It could be a lot cleaner, and it lacks structure definition, but it is a solid build and is very functional. Thanks for everyone's input and advice. Oh, and I was a bit concerned about the cellcore, especially using it in an advanced combustion, but it seems solid as a rock so far!

Edited to add in...I LOVE the weight advantage of Cellcore ABS vs PVC. Just by removing my 2 1/2" PVC tennisball barrel alone, the weight reduced significantly. If the whole thing was solid PVC, man it would be a tank.

It's good to see that you came here shrouded in n00bness, asked all the right questions and managed to turn all the advice you were given into an extremely well made first project :) now how about some videos?

Thank you! I would love to post some videos and damage pics and I will certainly do exactly that. I have a video camera lying around and I gotta get it working, shouldn't be a big deal. I'll drive out to a spot, or maybe just FRAG stuff in the garage and post the results. Thanks again.

Seriously, very respectable advanced spudgun! I am throughly impressed! a few things. Perhaps you should consider a barrel redesign for a few reasons. First, this beast could use a camlock breech system to make ammo loading, storage and ease of use all better. Second you definitely would benefit from a longer barrel, which unfortunately means you probably won't be able to use ABS as it is very floppy in longer lengths.

overall, this is the BEST first time build I have ever seen. You should be very proud!

Does it have a name? Damage pics???

Good job Moon! Your efforts and study in the last month or so have paid off!! Wish there were more like you.

Not to belabor the point made by others but...You would be amazed at the performance increase just another foot or so of barrel would give you. Also, I know you like the weight savings of the cell-core...but....

It would be valuable to post some pics of the internals of this cannon as well as some close-ups around the outside.
