now please test it with some stuff (e.g. wires) put in the chamber
just like mythbusters did in their episode on sewage pipes & explosions

wires? ok
I have tested by putting a heavy projectile and a rupture disc is a piece of tape, I could shoot a burning very interesting!

ohh it's awesome - LOVE how at 0:13 you can see the sabot being sucked back into the chamber
guess it took too long for a large projectile to accelerate so the temperature, and thus pressure, dropped

so did the wires increas flamefront propagation speed? (lol DYI I admit I don't even know what it means)

would it be possible for you to put a chamber fan in to view the suposed 'vortex' that is generated.

Interesting idea, I'll see if I can put a fan in mine.

no matter how, the introduction of a chamber fan generally creates more power, it would be interesting to see how/why this occurs, this idea was brought up by fnord, but it was glossed over on the first page... i didn't want to take credit for the idea

Can I put a fan in the room, it's not a worry! I've done tests with the wires at the request of a menber!

as promised, the fan! I only made tests with butane as well. I used the fan to mix the air and butane

It would be nice to try some shots with he fan on during combustion as a comparison; I am assuming that was what boyce123 was talking about ?

you want me to draw while the fan is running?

Yes, increased turbulence in the chamber is meant to cause faster combustion.

ok
I'll see it tomorrow!
I made one last shot (sadly not filmed), a real gun, the most violent of all!
