Barrel: 28" SCH 40 1 1/2"
Chamber: 18" SCH 40 3"
Ignition: lantern sparker (hey what the heck $2)
Standard fuel like carb cleaner, you know the usual propellents

Yeah im pretty proud of this gun, what can i say its a first combustion for me had to paint i wasn't soo good with the primer. I built it last year in the winter and here in Michigan it just started to warm up so im gonna shoot it off. Its probably the last lantern sparker ill do. Damage pics should be coming maybe a video.

yeah, i wouldnt suggest lantern sparkers.

so when does the onboard propane-metering, the built-in handle, the chamber fan, the stun gun ignition, the laser sight, the rifle scope, the caution tape and neon underglow get put on? :D

im just kidding! looks like a great first gun!

It looks like he sanded it down to cut potatoes better.

Nice gun, looks almost the same as my first, except you did a better job on your ignition system.

I live in Texas, and it's hot all year round. HA!

I am looking to build a cannon like this and I was wondering whether to use abs or pvc, which is better?I am also wondering about the "chloride" part of pvc cause when it burns its pretty much poison, is that generally a problem with simple cannons like this?

I used ABS for my first pneumatic gun and it works perfectlty fine... Mind you i have only put in 32 PSI at the max, so i cant guarantee that its not gonna explode with more pressure..

Although I think ABS is not brittle as is PVC when it bursts

Never use ABS in pneumatics, in combustions, it's fine. We've been over this countless times before.

Great first gun, crazyfreak.

Yea.... but i dont really mind it breaking.... its my first....

Im just saying ABS will just tear along the side if it breaks..... It wont hurt you....

Can u give me the forum on which they've debated the comparison plz? I've been looking for some the past 15 minutes....

You don't even need to see the comparison. ABS can't hold much pressure for long periods of time. If you value your eardrums, I would consider changing to pvc for pneumatic.
