hey

heres my cannon. nothing to flash due to strict budget and parents. i mainly shoot spuds and i use deoderant or butane. it uses a car ignition coil for ignition. and it has a fan. to power the ignition coil it has a motorbike 12volt battery hidden in a gutted psu case which was my attempt at making a sort of ammo bag. i wanted it to look something like an m60 or m249 saw but it looks nothing like it so ill just cut my loses. mods to come will be on board propane and interchange able barrels.
its a work in process so im going to do a bit of touching up etc etc. it started off as quite a simple cannon and it evolved to what it is

thanks for looking

Maybe you could use "Colossus" as a name?
*name of aircraft carrier*

Greek and Roman gods are always cool, how about Thor.

hey
thanks for the replies.
length is as follows
chamber: 11cm high and 15cm at the y, and it is around about 34cm long
Barrel: 1m by 5cm
when i first built it i had no knowledge of a particular cb ratio so its a bit of a back yard bogan job. and i all so had limited supply of piping. im happy with it.
what do you think of "the animal" for a name. because i will try make up a template and put it on the side of the cannon

thanks for looking

I'm pretty sure that Thor is a Norse god. Anyway, that's a good name.
Ohh! Make a barrel extension and name it "Megingjard"! In the future, you could make a smaller version, and name it "Thrud".

Along the god route, and the AC route, there is/was an aircraft carrirer called hermes.

hey

megingjard sounds like a good name. by "barrel extension" do you mean a larger piece of piping with holes in it which takes away some of the noise. or do you mean extend the length of the barrel. ill do that when i make the barrels interchangeable but that wont be for a while as im saving up my money to buy a welder

it looks to me that he made a crude sight post on the top side of the barrel, thats a pretty cool looking gun.
I put a muzzle brake on the end of my barrel, if its supposed to knock down on the noise - it is failing miserably, still loud as hell!

This might sound familiar. MJOLNIR. Thor's Hammer. Its what the Halo Video Game armor is named after.
