Just because an idiot killed himself and a few others in a turbocharged R34 Skyline and another wraps himself around a power pole in a 3 cylinder Diahatsu dont mean we all drive like idiots right? Guys? They took away my V8  I want some justice. Twitch 4 PM again.
What state in Australia restricts P platers car engine sizes? I'm in Perth and I've never heard of it, the only restriction P platers have here is they can only have a BAC of 0.02% not 0.05% like ppl with a full licence.

So what If you already owned a V8 when the laws came in?, or If your family only owned a v8 and couldn't afford another car... Seems crazy...cant believe its in Aus!

I take offense to that, (not really)

so whats the punch line?
Err... its more or less a crash line...

The Ohio people come down south very summer to go to the beaches. Unfortunately they seem to run into EVERYTHING. I guess to much looking at palm trees, commenting in funny accents, and bragging about how great Ohio is, for them to bother with attentive driving.

*rant done*

can you tell I'm stressed from the Ohio run this year?

"designed" Soo for the sake of argument , What happens when a "device "you designed and have the plans and paperwork along with a copy of the law showing it,s original use was for none of the prohibited items ? cough, cough water ,fire extinguishing agents, air cough, cough.

I'll admit I'm not up on Aus. police and their practices but in Texas if you can turn a simple thing into a time and paperwork mountain mess things go away.

just a thought'

Over here we're restricted to 6 cylinders or less, 120 hours plus 20 at night a zero BAC and we get no spud guns. If we had a V8 or high performance car before July 07 we could apply to keep them and in special circumstances those who could only get a V8 could also apply.

I wish I was in WA. Or VIC they get a power to weight ratio. And I've already written in 15 hours I didnt do

Yeh I love WA, we got no fixed speed cameras, no Sunday or late night trading (dunno if thats good or not :D), cannabis is decriminalized, we got the highest wages in Aus and spudgun laws are vague rarely enforced, so unless your shooting somewhere dangerous or "not in the public interest" your probably not going to get much trouble from plod.

Ive always thought WA was pretty harsh on young drivers with all the bullsh|t you have to go through to get your license but you guys seem to have it much worse than us :D I couldn't imagine doing 120 hours of driving with my parents... g's that would be torture

When I got my manual license like 3 years ago when I was 17 the next day I was legally allowed to drive this massive truck at work which was a few kilos under the limit for needing a truck license...now even I think thats a bit crazy...I reversed into several stacks of wood
