i did some research on psi of 9mm's this is what i found: http://www.speer-bullets.com/pdf/45GAP% ... 150dpi.pdf says 9mm Luger runs 35000 psi in the cartridges, Im not sure if that means the pressure in the cartridge when the hammer is struck, or in the barrel.

which cleared things up for me
