In an attempt at kite surfing during and in the effects of tropical storm Fay, here's Ft. Lauderdale's moron number 1, pushing the limits of "Darwinism" as it has become known.

There's an unimaginable number of people on this planet. I'm not even going to pretend I have any sympathy for that one when others have a much worse time at no fault of their own.

Still, at least he managed to liven up local and international news a bit, t'would be a very dull world if everyone played it safe.

You'd think the average person would let go after hitting the beach the first time. How come the common sensed people always end up dead or more injured from accidents while the idiots usually just brush it off?

If his brain was calm and collected and could see that the future involved being lifted a couple of dozen feet further into the air then I'd say he'd have let go as soon as possible.

As it was it's more likely he was scared crapless and clung on in the hope it would end soon.
