Yes, I am the guy from DIY go karts, and no, i took it apart weeks ago. I am buying a pocket bike instead in a few weeks. But until then, i made a pocket kart out of this go kart, it is about 16 inches long, and about 5 inches wide. It is TINY, about 1/5 the size of this kart.

Pictures with a something (like a car tire) for reference is a must.

Not quite done yet, but will be tommorow after school though.

BTW, has anyone ever heard of a pocket kart, or pocket go kart?

Car tires come in different sizes you know.

Soda cans. Ultimate reference object!

I've never heard of a pocket kart blind, but it sounds like fun! (Going to google)
Hmm google mostly comes up with those mini-bikes. So its like one of those, but then on 4 wheels?
I should definitely build something like that one day. :D

Here it is, All it needs is some paint, and to screw on the motor(will be right behind the battery). It is about 1/3 of the weight of the kart in this thread. I will paint it red. The thing is 12"long, 12" wide, and 13" to the handlebars.

um... I hope you have some nice insulation over those exposed leads... That would be quite exciting.

Also, is it just me or did the motors disappear in the latest version?

Not on 12 volts it won't be.

My worry is about breaking the battery by someone sitting on it.

Trust me, spilt battery acid is not fun to deal with, given it's about as strong as sulphuric acid gets, short of actually having the stuff neat.
In some ways, it's actually more hazardous than if it were neat, given that neat it's very viscous and it's reaction is thus slowed.

That thing is made out of high-density fun!
AWESOME! Its so small :D
You could also convert it into an electric skateboard.

I really love the tiny thing. How fast will it go and how long can it run on one full battery?

First of all, I really dont think 65-70 LBS. will break it, and I have already have one leak, and the acid burnt through some concrete in my garage  . And I will be getting a small barstool soon, and cutting the legs down to about 10-12 inches, and putting it over the battery(not touching, the stool will stand independently). And I will be getting some paint today, The wheels will probably be black, and the rest of it red.

How do you plan on steering this contraption?

With the handlebars.............. Look on the 2nd pic down. I have a bolt through the middle of the pvc tee on the bottom. That bolt goes through the pvc, and into the wood. I hope you understand it.
