The obsession with jack's location? When something is made a challenge, then that becomes more interesting. And as his efforts to keep it a secret are a succes, it has become a big challenge to find it out.
I have requested the numbers on epoxy consumption per country at the european union, so his location should be revealed soon.

Whether it's a success depends on whether you've been paying enough attention to his interweb postings. If you read around, he's dropped enough hints in his time to work it out if you're really that desperate.

And because my curiosity was engaged, I've known for a great many months. I've yet to meet him for that pint he suggested, but maybe one day...

By the way - nice motor. :P

S1 or S2 JSR? My dad's a sad landy freak...a v8 rangie, TD5 D2, and two S2's, one with a 350 Ci in it. He did have 3 S2's but he sold one..

Plus he goes to all these landrover forums, makes his own sidestep sliders, rear bumper, camper trailer, roof rack..

It's pathetic JSR! Pleaaase don't!!!!!!!!

Edit: I think the one with the 350 is actually a S3

Side mounted Squirt Guns for those times you feel like messing with ppl while driving by them? (I knew a Guy who did this)

And you HAVE to mount a train horn to it.

Don't worry, no way am I going to stop spudding. I don't spend much money on spudding anyway, and the landy will give me something to do while the epoxy cures ;)
I find it interesting, JSR, that the one who always suggests that people with large guns are "compensating" has just purchased a larger car...
Don't worry, after all the modding I will the proud owner of a tiny bank account that's clearly no compensating for anything ;)
So following that rule, he is compensating and thus he probably just lost his girlfriend or something like that then.
Not yet, but she's not happy about it, not happy, at all. Ah well :)
S1 or S2 JSR?
S3, 1978 2.3 Litre Rover engine

lol probably

It does need some light bodywork but the chassis, engine, gearbox etc are sound. I'm thinking either desert sand or olive drab and definitely jacking it up on coils and defender axles. New tires, new soft top, a bit of sound (though you're not going to hear anything above the engine roar :D ) so yes, should be a good 'un :)

Coincidentally, My other half did comment that the seats don't recline, at which yours truly went "errr..." and indicated the massive space at the bacl :D

Olive drab ftw JSR. Oh, and perhaps you should add a K&N filter setup, and some performance exhaust system. (Brand names are excaping me atm) Oh, Holley maybe? Yeah, and a light rack with aircraft grade foglamps. I hear that you can feel those!

It's got an automatic cooling system, when you feel hot you automatically reach for the window and open it ;)
