Anyways, I know the simplest way is a job. I have one, but the hours are limited. I'm not lazy at all I've been applying for jobs everyday looking for more work. I've had no luck at all. So in the mean time I need to find a way to make more money until I can get a job which can give me more hours. I was thinking of buying and reselling on ebay, but not sure what items to do this with. Any suggestions for items or ways to make money?

I sell stuff that i get off roadside colection or for free or i buy stuff for cheap and sell it higher. I cannot get a job at the moment either, need experience to get experience as per usual.

Try volunteer. A network of people who know your abilities is a must. I was laid off from a job in a stereo shop when they found the bookkeeper was embezzling and they were broke. At the time I was good friends at a movie theater and repaired their lamp power supply on a gratis basis as the small town couldn't wait for a repairman. They had a sudden vacancy and I got a job I never applied for. They called me. The pay wasn't great, but it paid the bills until I could move on in the recession in the 1980's.

Other than volunteer work at the theater, I have had no projection experience. I am now experienced in everything from carbon arc 40 minute reels with changeovers, to HID platter 70 mm systems. I've since moved on, but I can apply as a head projectionist anywhere.

Later networking with friends brought me to the R & D position I am now in. It usually requires a degree, but military schools and a ISCET Journeyman certificate was acceptable and I've been here ever since with no student loans to pay off.
