Heres my mid-sized trebuchet, it can hurl a golf ball over 200 feet and a potato probably 150-200. Right now i just tie a string with a loop to each projectile as my sling was messing up.
Edit- pics messing up, more momentarly, the others were to big
Edit-OK Pics are up

Put wheels on it. It'll throw farther and won't try to rip itself apart every time you fire.

Did you WAG the dimensions or use something like Wintrebto design it?

Check if your local library has a copy of the Nova episode where they built a couple big (really big) trebs.

Well I shoot it in my grassy yard so wheels wont work, as for tearing apart, it twist a little but its fine, I just kinda winged it, I went to Lowes and bought 10 bucks worth of lumber and 4 screws, thats was all, I only use a 30 pound counter weight so Im not sure about it breaking, the copper rod it bending so i need to pick up a steel pipe, Ive seen some pretty big ones on youtube(they threw flaming pianos and small cars)
