yeah i will. Just the ice should melt from the roads so it would be like... safer . its not fun to drive like 65km/h ja then the bike just slips off .

Personally, I think you should think about more than just the one 900 mile ride before buying a bike.
What else do you plan on using it for? Weekend sport rides? Track days? Daily rider?
I was on my 250 for 2 years, I often did 2 hour highway stints with ease, and took it out regularly through the mountains where I live. Its a Hyosung GT250R (dont flame me please) and its a hell of a lot of fun.
Personally, I know I would have gotten so so bored with a cruiser style bike... I like to get off the thing and lean it a lot when I go riding.
These are the things you need to think about, what style of riding you want to be doing, will you get sick of the bike anytime soon etc etc

Buying a bike is definitely a scheduled item waaaayyyy later down the road, so I've got plenty of time to think. At the moment, though, if I all of a sudden had $10,000 to spend (this includes licensing, safety gear, gasoline, other bullsh*t), I would probably go out and but a Sportster Superlow 883. Seems like a decent bike to start out on.

Right now I'm just trying to keep my 15 year old Ranger running. Replacing the timing belt ATM (thank God it's not an interference engine, or I would be in the same situation as my sister about three years ago with her Civic, paying for a $1200 engine ((although I think I would buy a long block instead and go from there))).
