Has anybody ever tried to build a duel chambered hybrid. Now I do know that that would be incredibly dangerouse, but it would be awsome to build.

yep that would be cool, but if both chamber exploded your ears would be ringing for awile, if it fired right that would be awsome (someone should try that) also has anyone made a clear-chambered hybrid

Once I build a couple hybrids I think I might try it.

Would it be double barreled? The ignition would be easy with a good stun gun, they make them 100,000 volts now. 50,000 for each chamber?? The burst disk would be chancey, how consistent are the plastic plates that are used? Or any other type for that matter?

1. the elbows used to connect the chambers would take trementous forces and would need to be reenforced
2. it dould ccost much more than a single chamber that was verry long. $ x 2 = 2 x the parts
3. there would be no trouble with the burst disk because the chambers would have the same pressure as a single chamber.
3. i have yet to find clear Sch 80 pvc. a must for a hybrid

Are you retarded? Clear sch 80 has about the same strength as white sch 40. Never make a hybrid out of clear anything. Grey sch 80 is what you need.

By the way, clear sch 80 exists. Look on McMaster.com. An example of one of the many clear sch 80 parts you can find is part number 4740K52. Again, this is not hybrid material.

4" Clear sch 80: 160 psi. 4" White sch 40: 220 psi. 4" Grey sch 80: 320. Did you notice the 160 psi difference? Yeah... the grey is twice as strong.

I belive this whole topic to be created by a lack of thinking, and want to increase post count. Odds are you'll never come close to building such a cannon, much less finishing it.

So I will run with such a ill-composed idea... The purpose of the "dual" chamber is? Let me venture to state two possible explinations:
-Increased rate of fire
-Increased power

Both are easier acheivable. For increased power simply increase chamber volume, and cannon configuration. For a increased rate of fire simply refine and streamline injection system.

And more importantly: Streamline Ventilation.

Yea DR's long acroymn cannon looks really cool, although I would of thought jamming 3 TB's in one barrel would of done the same thing... Either way I get to see the cannon in action on Saturday, Yipee!

You do know that gun is not really that cool. I love DR and all but he has come up with much better things than that. That is just what he comes up with when he's bored. The Tri-Launcher is just a chain of the simplest guns you can make.
