Ordering from the net is no problem, but I always rather buy it from a "real store". I might make a graphite/fireclay crucible. Cement is useless in this case I am afraid.

Well I tried. :roll: Yhe crucible I personally use is a small one made out of fire clay and a small carbon steel pail for the outer shell. Maybe I can get it up and running again and make a video for you.

With waste vegetable oil and a hair dryer, I can melt aluminium, steel and basically anything with a meltingpoint lower than 2000 degress farenheight except for brass, zinc, lead, which dont work well with WVO.
