Well it may seem suprising but today i shot commercial air rifles and air pistols for my first time :D Nothing to exciting, my .22 QEV gun would own them any day with power

The best bit had to be shooting 20 gauge shotguns :D
We shot at clays with 8 rounds going forward infront of us and 8 rounds going up.

Score?

6/8 going forward (bear in mind this was the first time i had ever shot a real gun)

6/8 going up. (had a terrible instructor)

I'm pretty happy with the score and beat my teammates by a mile.

Unfortunatly i coudn't tell the make of any of the guns but i was also very good at the air rifles and pistols scoring the highest in my group.

Well i guess it comes down to all that practice :)

Power? No, but I'd put good money on them being able to shoot more accurately than your launchers, and reload a darn sight faster. Power isn't, and will never be, everything...

Either way, glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Sounds fun. I've never actually shot any airguns or firearms. Rally want to though. Test my marksmanship, see if it compares anything with my damn good airsoft skills

Ive got a few commercial air guns but never a real firearm. Only time I had the chance was a state fair but it was 4 bucks a shot and there were like 15 people crammed into a 8 foot strip to shoot.(sorry bout my rant )

Good to hear you enjoyed shooting. The first gun I ever shot was a .22LR, and now I own one, along with a 7mm-08 Rem 770 rifle. I am planning on getting a 12-gauge shotgun sometime this year.

Yes, air pistols and rifles tend to produce very low amounts of kinetic energy. I have found that many large bore air cannons have power comparable to modern powder firearms with high enough pressure.
