Guess I cheated, I couldn't be arsed moving to a bedroom and turning off all the lights. So what was supposed to happen?

As basic-posts from me to this thread, this again a very offtopic post, but... Is it normal that your psychology teacher looks for you at the morning, just to give you 10kg box of lead? :D

If you don't actually do anything it's not supposed to mean anything. It would be more like, 'ok... and what was the point of that?' It's not so much the subject matter, but rather the guy's understanding of psychology that caught my attention.

Though it probably doesn't help I was watching suicide mouse and other horrible things before hand.

Geert Wilders is the guy with the peroxide-hair, he likes to bitch at muslims and everything that doesn't come from the Netherlands.
Most of his votes come from people who follow the person who draws all the attention

Most of the other politicians hate him, so they keep on bashing the buttons so he doesn't get the chance to say anything :D

Doesn't really matter tough, he isn't able to say anything worth listening to.

No matter what you think of his opinions, denying him a voice is not appropriate if he represents the views of a segment of the population.

According to wikipedia he is the "the founder and leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid – PVV), the fourth-largest political party in the Netherlands."

Silencing the views of those you don't like is facism, not democracy. He looks a lot more dignified that the smug opponents pressing on their buzzers.

This turned out to be a joke, the video was edited :D

He's getting more than enough attention, probably more than other politicians because of his rather extreme opinions and way of debating.

I wish you could uderstand what they're saying, you'll see that he isn't as dignified as he may seem in the video.
Every time he opens his mout a big stream of offending stuff streams out, not a person you want in the government if you like to have a good reputation.

However, I have to admit that he manages to start discussions about controversial topics, something most other politicians wouldn't do.

OK, now it makes sense :)

Sometimes you need an arsehole to say the things everyone else is too polite or tactful or afraid to say, it's a necessary evil.

I'm usually "that guy" in a discussion or at work, doesn't make you popular but it does get respect.
