Hardest thing I've done at uni and it's only worth 10% of the course: Write a research proposal topic justification for a research topic that could be theoretically carried out at graduate level.
Due on Wednesday, still sorting out my topic and cross-checking it with previous research to: (a) make sure it hasn't already been done; (b) is actually a legitimate research topic and my ideas aren't flawed, and (c) is actually worth doing.
My sources folder has a little under 50 (and counting) research publications I've flicked through multiple times. I've spent all day looking at images like the one below

Didn't have room to bring it and it's batteries are shot. I did manage to inherit one. Not sure what to do with it yet.
My Uncle has a Jazzy scooter. It high centers on some of the trails so it didn't make the trip below the rim.

Just goes to show how many papers you can read on such a narrow topic and not learn much else!
The answer was striae of Retzius. Fun fact, you can count the cross-striations (diagonal lines from bottom right to top left) between adjacent striae and then multiply this by the number of striae present on the surface of the tooth (perikymata) to find the age of a juvenile at which the tooth stopped growing (i.e. when they died).

This sounds interesting:
Authorities have impounded a fridge that mysteriously exploded so investigators can determine what caused the blast that blew the door off its hinges and smashed 10 windows.
A garbage bag full of food that was in the fridge has also been kept, after fire investigators failed to find a cause for the Tuesday night explosion at a Tauranga home.
Fire safety officer Ken McKeagg said explosives experts from Wellington would travel up to investigate the blast, which also destroyed a sliding door and cracked parts of the ceiling.
Residents of the Gate Pa home said there were no suspicious liquids in the fridge, Mr McKeagg said.
"They said it was just food [and] this is what's stunned us. Food doesn't just blow up or I'll be too scared to put carrots in my fridge," Mr McKeagg said.
There was no sign that a refrigerant had sparked the blast.
Mr McKeagg said the fridge, which was bought second hand, was at least 20-years-old.
Energy safety investigators from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment will travel from Wellington to examine the ruptured fridge in the next fortnight, a ministry spokesman said.
"They'll be looking to see if there was a fault with the appliance or if someone had done something to it, which may have caused the explosion," he said.
The two men living in the house were woken by the 1.15am blast.
The men, Paul Collinson and John Smith, were unhurt.
"There was this explosion and it went boom," Mr Collinson told the Bay of Plenty Times.
"I was in my room and it blew out the windows and I felt the vibrations and a big whoosh as it came over my head.
"It hurt my ears and they're still ringing now.
"It looked like a bomb had exploded."
The men said they were clueless as to what had caused the blast.
Anyone want to take a guess at what the cause was? I wouldn't think there'd be enough refrigerant in a fridge to that kind of damage from pressure build up alone.

I doubt the refridgerant could have done that. Methane buildup from decomposing food perhaps, which would have resulted if the fridge was not properly functioning. *spark* BOOM!

The booms are composed of 2 or 3 litre soda bottles which are pressurised to 90-100 psi, the central pod contains a camera, BB chamber and barrel, as well as a motor driving a pusher propellor.
Trigger can be a servo operated small ball valve or similar. Make it "valveless" with BBs already in the pressure chamber and a detent trigger and you get even more air and efficiency
