If I start posting live videos of bands from the 70s you can probably safely assume...

@JSR,

I'm not sure if it is the weird movement of that robot or its shape that makes it seem so scary. It doesn't help when you consider that we went from room sized computers to computers smaller than your hand in only 60 something years.

I don't find it as scary as this:

You could hear a massive humanoid robot coming into your house and have some chance of escaping or fighting it, but UCAVs have the ability to rain down death and destruction from thousands of feet in the air, unseen and unheard - and what is keeping them from doing it independently is a matter of ethics, not technology.

If you were a Dutchman i'd say you were high as sh*t, in your case just drunk hehe

As long as it is good music...

It moves in a way that's too organic looking for a computer :D
I find all their creations creepy to some degree, BigDog scores pretty high on that list.

Not to mention that these are already in military use, and humanoid robots aren't..

yup... and they've only just scratched the surface.

As guidance systems get smaller and smaller, and collateral damage is less acceptable, we can't be far from the day they will be dropping small solid steel darts that can target an individual as opposed to blowing up and entire house or car. "Rods from God" lite...

27,943 times better than the actual movie!!! At least it's true to the game.

Absolution was pre-ordered for my birthday, can't wait!

Love the *raises phone smile* moment hehe

Pool guy reminded me of Edward Norton for some reason.

This is also pretty awesome:

... and on the subject of awesome, no idea what the game will be like but this trailer is good:

"Surprise, horse lady... Uh oh, not good"
I certainly would never have expected to ever hear that in a Call of Duty trailer!

Let it be known as TRUTH !!

Mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a couple nice cold beers. The day was really quite beautiful, and the brew facilitated some deep thinking on various topics.
Finally I thought about an age old question:

Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the Nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.
Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question.
Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion.

A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "it might be nice to have another child."
On the other hand, you never hear a guy say,
"You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

I rest my case!

Found a simple microphone chrony too - got ot test it with an airgun an see if it's any good

I wish developing apps was easier - got some simple apps written in processing to work on my phone like apps with sliders, buttons, animations and s### but it's damn hard to interface stuff such as bluetooth, wifi, camera or grab data from sensors

I might get better luck with MIT app inventor
