Pretty amazing what technology can do these days. 30 yrs ago this was sci-fi. Should have prepared a list of phrases for translation earlier - it's difficult to come up with something on the spot.

An app that, among other cool features, can take a picture of some text and recognize it (the text itself). Then it automatically provides translation of it into your language if it realizes that it's foreign. Very impressive - once had to use a car manual, but the problem was that it was only in german. Just took a photo and voila - got everything translated almost perfectly into polish and I could fix the damn thing.

This clearly a case of racism. A white family wouldn't have been stopped, a white family running away from police would not have been chased and a white teenager attacking a police officer would have been perfectly acceptable and understandable.

Breaking the window and shooting out the tyres was a bit drastic to be honest, certainly it doesn't make the cops look good.

Clearly the mother and son deserve an ass beating (as determined by the court) but not summary justice dispensed on the road side.
