Is this a good compressor? (water cooler)

I have this water cooler that we're getting rid of, and I would like to know if the compressor inside is good to use... it has the number 22 on top if that means anything. Here are a few pictures.

Yep, that will work. Dont make the same mistake I did and keep the starting capacitor. I know have trouble getting mine going because I though away the "useless" electronic peice. I threw it away because it worked without it at first. Mine was a small black box with 2 wires coming out of it.

Thanks, I don't know if I will be allowed to take it out because we might give it to somebody, but if I can, I'll start to worry about wiring and everything. I have absolutely no electrical experience but I'm sure my dad and you guys will help me out a bit.

22 probably means R22 ->

There is just one way to find out ;-)
if it doesn't work check the wiring again, and the starting cap if it has one (it use a startup relay instead )

I know it works because the water cooler works, I mean is it like a high power one that can do 100s of psi like the fridge ones lol :wink:

yeah, it should
