I highly doubt you'll find an airsoft gun with that general amount of "purtyness".

Plus
obviously it is not a toy.
Kind of indicates what it is to a degree.

airsoft guns I would not consider toys either because they can cause bodily harm as well. I would never treat an airsoft gun as a toy, When something can kill a small animal with ease, its not a toy anymore. So with that said, I will let this argument continue :D

I love playing devil's advocate.

Zeus, it depends on the company making it. Classic Army has some nice looking guns. So whats the truth to it david?

It is interesting to see all the comments. This is by far one of the most realistic airsoft guns I have seen. I picked it up from overseas and the thing is amazing. I am having so much fun playing with it. The slide has a nice snap to it and firing off rapid shots feeling the thing kick is just awesome.

The thing is all metal, and the only gripe I have is the grips. Which I plan on replacing anyway. The grip safety is nice, the trigger is nice, the ambidextrous safety is a nice feature as well. The slide release is a little short so I have to re-position my strong hand in order to release the slide.

I live in town, so I have not been able to test the accuracy and range of it until later this week, but yeah, Im happy so far :D

The "U.S. Army" and the "m1911-A1" gave it away for me. Also, the rear sight on a 1911 is not dove tailed in, so that gave it away. As did the the two different serial numbers as well as the fact that it is not a 1911-A1 design

That said, It is very nice.

Of course this is what I meant by my comment on the barrel's riffling.

If it wasn't airsoft I would be surprised... nobody buys 1911's anymore for carry. Much better off buying a Glock in .40 S&W and spending the rest on something else.

Well I brought it outside to shoot it today, shoots pretty consistent, my guess is it shoots around 340fps judging from experience. I will chronograph it as soon as I get the chance.

Yeah the model of this gun is after the 1911 MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEU(SOC)_pistol

I also will have a small little treat here soon as The gun is going to undergo a little change.
