First stage of gearbox prototyping is done XD, now to prototype the piston, and then to prototype the whole thing with a trigger. I like saying prototype way too much...

That's no bad but I can tell you there are cooler, simpler, and cheaper ways to go.

ROFL, you clearly haven't spent enough time purchasing things from that supplier if you think $23 is a lot for an order.

But I can see how it's a drag... being that I'm in a financial situation rather similar to you right now :?

That, and last time I spent $50+ on the air gun, which was a bust 'cause it was too...unsafe

Was the part that failed from McMaster? Can't you re-use some parts?

I bought tubes and metal pipes from McMaster, I was stupid, I should have bought HDPE, even before, wasted 20 bucks on a thin sheet of metal I can't use...I still plan on using some of the metal tubes to create the piston, but I need a rack gear, and the HDPE for the chassis

Why are you quitting? Are you trying to make a bbmg? If so, might I suggest a direct feed bbmg?

@nadjatee
This was my advice on one of your threads 4 months ago and I stand by it:

@nadjatee
In your first post starting this thread, you stated that you were going to build a PISTOL.

23 minutes later......

In your second post, you state that rather than build a pistol, you've decided to build a RIFLE.

How can anyone help you when you obviously don't know what exactly it is that you want to do? Perhaps you should decide on a course and proceed in that direction........then ask for help.
