Dehumidifier compresor

ok so i just got a dehumidifier from my neibor it didnt work but i tore it down and got the compressor to pump only to find that it makes lesss than 15psi arnt they supposed to go to like 500 any hely would we great thanks .... sorry bout the bad spelling

Fridge compressors and AC compressors do. Try one of those. The compressor might have a bad seal so it's not building pressure.

ok there is also a dump next to my house with a few fridges ill try to get a compressor tommorow ... how do u remove ur freon im just curiour i just cut my line lol

I would not announce removing freon from anything as it is illegal. Just cut and run.

I myself have yet to do it but only from a lack of resources.

i used a hatchet first time i removed freon tho didnt know wat to expect so i put a plastic bag over my head till i was done choppin hillbilly hazmat

hahah wouldn't it be more dangerous putting a plastic bag over your head lol

freon isn't poisonous, but will displace air so if your in a closed or very poorly ventilated area then you could suffocate. So just hold your breath cut it, leg it then come back when is done. If the fridge is on its side then it might spit out oil as well.

but dont let it out the ozone will hate you

AFAIK, the dehumidifier compressor should be able to get to at least 300psi. Did you remove everything but the compressor and capacitor?

i cut both the lines to the compressor and it only had 2 wires comin out red and white it pumps but i can fart harder than that no canpacitor that i can see and yes its just the compressor no radator

It looks like the inlet is squished in a huge way... could that be part of the issue?
