So all this week I've been on a business trip. The highlight of the trip came this afternoon where I got to take the following video....

Incredible. How did you get this job? (aside from years of education...)

I just answered a job advertisement like anybody else and had the right resume.

Nice test fire. It could fool someone on the other side of the hill that a volcano just blew. ;-)

I like my Job too. Not quite a big dramatic show, but over half of the users of SF are using what I helped design. It has something to do with what is between your keyboard and the Internet.

I wish my job involved blotting out the sun... Not quite as clean as an oxy-hydrogen engine test is it :) ?

Also, that old news video about IRC networks you posted was hilarious.

Not quite, but an oxy-hydrogen engine would have been pretty dirty too. Much of that cloud wasn't smoke, but was rather debris that simply got picked up. Shortly after I put the camera away the cloud was over the top of us and it was raining sand and pebbles.

What is your actual job title?

So when people ask me what I wanna do when I grow up, I can sound dignified :D :D :D
