ok, its my birthday in about a month, and im hoping for an airsoft gun. what i am looking for is convincing arguments as to why i should get one.

so far i have come up with:

1) i have a homemade gun that can put a paintball clean through a soda can.
2) i will legally be able to obtain a shotgun and/or rifle on my birthday
3) playing airsoft will give me another reason to get my ass off the couch and run around
4) i play football and the injury statistics for football are 54 times those of airsoft/paintball
5) they come with an orange blaze on them and i wont remove it so it wont be mistaken for a real gun
6) almost every one on my street has gotten one and i want to play with them
and finally7) if i wanted to be a violent person and kill someone, i wouldn't use a replica gun, id use my fists or various foot long knives that i already have

i have tried some of these before, when i had my 1st spudgun, and my mom kept on saying "there are no guns in the house" when i pointed out that she was using circular logic and being unreasonable, she grounded me.

guys, thanks so much for any suggestions that you have.

here is the gun im going to get

Well you have it in the bag, all though some parents can't understand logic I am sure you could convince them. Airsoft is fun, especially when you play in a t-shirt and shorts. I think you should leave out no.7 because they will only here what they want to here and think, omg! he wants to kill someone!. So if they say that you might kill someone simply say that there is no way it can happen and you will be even more carefull.

If I'm correct you cannot buy Airsoft guns if you're not 18.

ask for money and get an older sibling to buy it. how old are you turning? or just go to a flea market and buy one. i have no idea what a flea market is because i live in australia, is it like a trash and treasure market? or do they sell brand new things?

Tell them you have more chances getting killed in or by a car than injuring yourself with this stuff.

Which is PROBABLY true anyway.

Tell them if you really wanted to kill some on or hurt them you would use a real gun not this "toy".
