The first person to tell me what the size of a 8x8x16 concret block is, and what type of blades you use for cutting masonary(hint!), and what kind of saw there used on (hint it runs on gas) I will give them 200 spud bux! good luck.

An 8x8x16 block is: 7 1/4x9 1/2x15 3/8
You can use a masonary blade, I would use a diamond blade
I would use the Stihl TS 400 with water hook up (a chop saw in laymans) with 50:1 fuel mix

I know this because I own a TS 400 and I built my basement and laid all the 8x8x16 bricks with my dad and grandpa

Talon got it right. Good job. and for a extra 10 SB why is the block 15 3/8'' long and not 16?

to compensate the mortar between the bricks so the wall is a nice even length, like 15 feet ,not 14 feet and like 3/4 or something to that effect.
