I tend to disagree with you about Kirk Hammet, maybe because I HATE metallica, and the others, I have no idea, I have never listened to them.
How many Disturbed songs have you listened to?
I can't tell the difference between NU-metal and metal; its all rock to me.
EDIT: Listen to Guarded, and tell me that the guitar isn't like amazingly good. Ps, No offense about any of the comments above intended.

Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee were much better guitarist in The Ozzy Osbourne Band then Zakk Wylde he was too much of a poser and show-off too much off a nu metal guitarist back in the 90's

I like these songs from disturbed: fear, stupify, just stop, down with the sickness, land of confusion, and bunches more.
I'm not saying that Dan Donegan isn't good, he's a brilliant guiitarist, but when it comes to technicality and experience, Kirk Hammet owns him, lol. You can't deny, even if you don't like him, that Kirk is a mind shattering guitarist.
BTW, I own 3 Disturbed Albums, Believe, 10000 Fists and The Sickness. They are one of my favorite bands.
Randy Rhoads was definitely much better than Zak Wylde,, I liked Ozzy's music a lot more for the songs that had him in them.
Schmanman, Tool is the shit. I love their music, it's just so much more different from anything else on the radio. I mean, some bands sound so alike, that when they come on the radio, you have to think who it is. Tool comes on and instantly you think "Hey! That's Tool!"
If I can find the videos for Eulogy and The Pot, I'll post them up here, another good bunch of Tool songs. If you like Tool, I think you'd like A Perfect Circle, which is a side project of the lead singer from Tool.

this is really funny,Hilarious! the thing is, the music he's playing (if you could call it that) is really fast, and takes a lot of skill, but sounds horrible
TooL and also A Perfect Circle, they are good.Does any one like Rob Zombie?Drowning pool?or P.O.D?
Parkway Drive anyone? Please some one download some of there song!

cant stand POD (stupid name stands for payable on death, I think) I like white zombie / rob zombie. thunderkiss 65'. If you want to See parkway drive, go to Google, click videos, than type it in and hit search. it's that simple.
Haha, unfortunately that isn't Eulogy. I'll try to find the video. Yes, Perfect Circle could pass for Tool, mainly beacue it is the brainchild of Maynard Keenan, Tool's lead singer. Really good stuff. I love that song, Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm of War Drums.
Rob Zombie and Drowning Pool are good, but P.O.D. is just too much of a Jesus-loving band for me, and considering that I'm a little biased to atheism, they really aren't my favorites.
I'm googoo over Slayer. Me <3 Raining Blood!
This is Eulogy
