im wanting to make an bb or airsoft gun but i dont know how to power it. i was thinking of using a spring but if i do that then i dont know how im going to get to bb out of the baral. should i have the bb sit and have the spring hit it like a kick or should it push it like a throw. i would like to know witch one will give me the most power.

it would probably be much more powerful to use air power via spring. like an airsoft or nerf gun

1) you posted this under the bbmg showcase its for showing off completed bbmgs the admin should move relocate this
2)here we power guns using air compressors or compressed gas tanks like CO2
3)normal airsoft guns usually aren’t directly powered by the spring the mechanism is more like a spring loaded Syringe
4)if you really want to do it this way you would first have to find the spring and parts and in the end you would probably have a lame single-shot gun you would be so much better off just buying any cheap airsoft gun
