Hey I was wondering, how many of you play woodsball or scenarioball? Do you use any form of specialized weaponry? (I.e. machine guns, LAWs, tanks, etc.) Is there any form of specialized weaponry that you wish you had? And has anybody ever thought of/used air support?

I love woods ball. Thats all I play. I dont play scenario ball because we have no areas around here to play it and I dont play speed ball because it sucks.

Experament-u2, I think you’re talking about the average paintball marker.
By the way I like your new avatar, is a kitty!

Edit:
Ya speed ball sucks, and that’s an understatement, my friend and I playd it once in an open field, needless to say he won because at the time I was new to paintball, out of my element(the woods), and he had a tipman 98c well I had a brass eagle triad.

what do you mean by machine gun?

anyways ya I love paintball but I usually play speed but I'm leaning towards scenario because then it's less often thus easier on the cash... I havn't played for a while but the last ime I play was for a week STRAIGHT with the last day a game with 4010 people!

By “machine gun” I mean a heavy machine gun, not a SAW. Like the so called “gatts” the crank action, high ROF paintball MGs, or the electronic heavy MGs, basically anything mounted

Ok here to break up the speedball conspiracy... everyone starts in woodsball. Some stay with it some need a more adrenalin rush. My opinion on woodsball is its a more slow paced strategic where speedball is go as fast as you can (hence the "speed" in speedball) and try to bunker the other guy as close as you can. Nothing against woodsball I just prefer speedball. I guess since most of you are woodsballer a mod is going to have to bring a fire extinguisher for all the flames :?

Have you seen the paintball mini-gun going around pbnation?

I have played woodsball and speedball (in am manner of speaking to speedball) Woodsball is the best in my opion partly because before my freinds moved away and my brothers went to college we would play a section of the forest that is roughly 150ft by 300ft stayin generally in an a circle with a diameter of 100ft and never see an other until we are in each others face literally. I have some pic some where of that area of the forest on the computer I will find them.

speed balls def good but, again, I'm short on cash and most of the kids at the local fields are rich assholes who care more about haveing the best gear then actually playing...

woods is fun because you can really get into it, got plenty of time to make plans with a large group of 10 or so people... oh ya almost forgot, you can use potato guns

the gatling gun? I havn't seen it on pbnation, only break.com
http://www.break.com/index/now_thats_a_ ... l_gun.html
does it actually shoot without choppes?!

I like woods ball because thats all we have here. I have played a version like speed ball with my dad and it sucked alot more then woodsball. Any ways I dont go to fields but instead in the woods next to a mall.

I play woodsball and have a normal semi-auto PMI. Thats all I really need and I don't like full-autos (they eat too much paint). I play woodsball (speedball sucks) and once my friend brought his moms big three wheeled bike and it has a pretty big basket in the back (36x36"). We just put a little fold out chair in the back and I sat on it with my friends full auto and shot people while he pedaled.
