I would like to give everyone on this site the opportunity to brainstorm together in order to create a community of spudgunners that work together in order to create superior spudguns. i think that the spudgunners who know what they're doing better than the amateurs could join with the dreamers, inventors, and executioners of the spudgun community. I think thats a good idea but i think thats what the purpose of the spudgun forums is(spudfiles, spudtech, advancedspuds, etc). It would be a good idea for maybe adding a new categorie just for brain storming. And do it for all styles of guns one for hybrids another one for combustions then another one for pneumatics. Two questions that dont have to do with the topic. Why did you put your title in all CAPS and second why did you post the same thing twice? Just wondering.

id say he just hit the submit button twice accidently or went bak and hit it again. i also think tis is a good idea but reckon it would be best if it had some really good facilities. eg. realtime conversations that get logged, maybe a java drawing toolkit that posts instantly, etc. just BRAINSTORMING here but it would be good.

About the double submission thing, julz is right. And the all caps was because my caps lock was on. Sorry 'bout that. julz, i dont think i know of any java app that fits your description. I have my aim set up so that it logs all of my conversations, so i could always start a conference and then post everything that happens on this topic page.

Oh yeah, does anyone know how to delete the other topic? Its kinda confusing for people (i'm sure) when i have two of the same topics! alright, continue posting here, and if you want to continue this project, please either email me or IM me, and we can start a time to do so with everyone who sends me a recognition of interest!

This could be a very good idea if it is carried out in a professional manner. Good idea, why did you say weren't much of an inventor?

Mainly because I improvise. I might see a design and tweak it, and from there i make something using an improvised design. So really, if i get started i can invent, but otherwise, im nothing of an inventor.

Mac_User: i dont know if any jave app exists like that. i thought i would sound clever and also expected it to turn up cos at ipodlinux people make stuff all the time. i mixed the forumd up. but yeah, anything could work, its just a matter of making it attractive for the user or they wont bother.

I like the idea alot but like i said before you should do it with combustions and hybrids because im not a big fan of pneumatics. I think its a good idea so you could discus your ideas and see if they would work as well as get other ideas or concepts from other people. I would join if every thing works out and it is easy to use. If i were you Mac i would make a website with forums as well as live chat (hopefully you know how to do all that stuff). I hope it works out some how!

I'm gonna make a new cannon that is suitable for launching paintballs. Its really cool. It completely bypasses the vortex system, and replaces it with two mini pressure tanks, which feed into a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve is coupled the tanks by a U-shaped pvc pipe, with a 1" PVC to Male Thread that is also on the end of the barrel. (12” SCH 40 1" PVC Pipe) Its going to be awesome. Please post works of your own or suggestions here. Okay? Okay.

yeah, it was kinda both. but seriously, the tanks have to be really small, otherwise it could seriously hurt somebody. And we wouldn't want that...

tank size doesnt really matter if u have a lot of psi or not. if u have a 1ci chamber with 100psi, i think u'll have the same force as with a 100ci chamber pumped to 1psi, so chamber size doesnt matter if thats correct

That is true, but the dual tank design is for one reason: It has to be fed off of an outside force at all times. ie: Co2 tanks or a compressor. Why you ask? Because i'm too lasy to think of anything else. So if i have 2 tanks, less psi per tank equals bigger force for less psi. Cool.
