My fellow spudders....I am in the process of moving out of the city.
In 3 weeks I'll move in to my new home, out in the south of holland.
Population about 500...Fields all around, so it should be any spudders paradise..

The only problem is...the village is so small they don't have any infrastucture to support internet!!!

I'll try to work something out, but chances are I won't be around for much longer...I might look you guys up whenever I get the chance, but it won't be the same!!
One day I'll probably visit here and find everybody forgot me
Most "older"members know who I am and what i've done, but the newbies don't...boohooo
hahaha

Too bad my camera broke down, I could have left with a bang..I have my Overkill cannon up and working.. 1.5 inch bore 25 bar cannon, with piston valve....
Damn. I'll miss this place!!!

Well I think gradually your posting has declined for the last while. No doubt though you have had a influence, my personal favorite is the 'sawed-off shotgun', and the 'chappy'. [If I recall right, that was the name.] I intend to do my own variant off of your sawed-off shotgun.

About the internet. I am not aware of your current economic status, but there should be satellite internet access available from anywhere. From what I understand the fees are higher to that of other types of net, but if you have a binding connection with the net, and can handle the cost it may be the way to go. Anyway here is some literature on the matter:

They don't have phone lines?

Also you can get internet access through most major cell phone providers. Either in the form in a card you plug into a PC/Laptop, or a cable that connects to your computer from your cell phone and it uses your cell phone as a modem.

Out here it is too expensive!!Current economic status is not all that...Now I'm no longer a bouncer..I make less money and work longer..

Anyway...I'll figure it out..I will be gone for some time at least ( still got three weeks though)

@Brian,

Even in my (reasonably short) time here I've seen a lot of great work from you. You've inspired a lot of other people to build guns like yours, and definitely left your mark on the spudgun community (corny as it sounds, it's true).
You will be respected and missed.

I bet you'll be able to find dialup or some sort of Internet out there. If not, check in from friend's houses or libraries or something now and then, mmk?

Best of luck with the move.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

I think your shotgun isoo oneoo of the most well known and influential guns built, with more copies or replicas, etc, than any other gun I can think of. :D

*salutes* It was an honor.

If theres a phone line, couldnt you just run a dial-up connection? That shouldnt cost too much.

Well, my hat’s off to ya’, it’s a shame to see you go…
Your rank needs changed to “The Overkill King”, first your sawn-off, now a 1.50cal. high pressure cannon…
As others have said, can’t you rig up a dial-up connection?

Seems like all the good members are leaving, first Rana (I did spell that right?), now you, brain. Who’s next???

You don't have to leave spudfiles! Write a letter with pics to one of us, someone can post for you. I will if you can send to USA, but that is timely and costly. I'm sure someone that lives near you will help. Look at the move this way, it's a upgraded shooting range! Yaaaaaaa!
