JB Weld Is epoxy

JB weld or epoxy both work well :P

Not in melting terms, it bonds chemically(fusing?) i think.
JB weld the normal stuff is good with metal, ive used it up to 200psi on a metal gun before.

ive found epoxy aint great to use between metal and pvc. the bond created doesnt fuse them together, and it holds pretty poorly to the plastic, u can pretty much just peel the stuff off once it dries out.

Proper epoxy will bond well with plastic assuming the surfaces have been correctly prepared, ie contact areas roughened with sandpaper and a file first, then blown free of dust and debris before gluing.

I should know, I don't use threaded fittings in my creations, just epoxy :)
