I have heard that the last one you have on the list beebs, is the best pistol that you can buy. However, aside from that, it isn't automatic (I think), and auto comes in very handy on a sidearm. I recommend the HFC m-11, I have it, and I LOVE it. I have heard that the KWA version is very picky with the ammo it recieves, and it doesn't like to work when there is marginal quality ammo. I have never heard anything bad about the HFC, and the performance specs are the same as the KWA, so go with the HFC if you get a M-11.

In response to beebs about the warhawk, yes, it is a V2, and he got the 8volt battery for it, as well as a slighty better spring that brings his fps up from 280 to 310. It is very accurate, and it has a wooden stock, and lots of metal. Pretty good deal I'd say.

does anyone have any thoughts on using gas blow back, select fire rifles in airsoft wars, such as classic airsoft guns?

im building myself a semi-auto gun out of the internal parts of my UTG shotty (broken  ). i have a hop-up (adjustable) an 18 inch barrel, mag well, high-capacity 180 round magazine, and 2 low-capacity 20 round magazines.... mount the whole thing in a PVC shell, with a blow-foward bolt system, a QEV, and a 3 way valve.

basically my question is wether a high-powered, high ROF gas rifle would be useful in an airsoft battle. it would most likely be in the 400-500 FPS range with a .2, with a range of around 200 feet. i would use it as a sniper most likely (the UTG shotty was VERRRRYYYY accurate, with a higher FPS and BB weight it should be just as accurate or mabey even more accurate..), and when i wanted to move up close id just regulate the air supply down to 50 PSI or less....... lowering the FPS to around 350, wich has been deemed safe by my airsoft team for CQB.

i just wonder if its safe to have something this powerful on a field..... or should i just use it for plinking......... i know it would not be as effective as an AEG, because of the lack of full auto. i could incorporate full-auto, but i lack the cash to do so.

also, i guess, im asking if semi-auto would be effective in cqb against AEG's.........

yes and no, you would get so much shit from your team for having a homemade gun, and it would be very hard to manuver around with an air supply. id say keep it for plinking and enjoy it like that. ammosmoke-i cant seem to decide becuase im not sure if i want a full auto, and i love 1911s i like the m-11 but im not sure if it would be too bulky for my uses as a sidearm. i like the g18c becasue it can take a 50 rd mag, but it is $20 more expensive than the non auto one. im pretty much deciding between those three, prolly leaning toward the 1911/ g18c

EDIT: i changed my decision, im getting a HFC M-11 from someone with one extra magazine for $110 shipped, i kinda lucked out, as its a pretty god deal for the money, with a magnesium slide.

wheres the M-11 deal? dang!

i was thinking earlier on in my airsoft carrer (if you can call it that) to use the M-11 as my primary just for kicks. if i can find an M-11 and about 5 spare mags for under 230 bucks, then ill definetly get that.... otherwise im still AEG-ing and getting the SOCOM MK23 GNBB for my sidearm.

also, yeah, i asked my team and they kinda shot down the homade gun thing..... ill build it still. ill bring the gun to a war and let them shoot me with it. thats how we determine if the weapon is "ok" to use in skirmishes. the builder/owner must get shot with it square in the back......

sure its odd, but it works!

Just to let you know beebs, the M-11 is NOT bulky. It is very small. It is smaller than a magnum pistol. Also, it has an extendable stock, and shoulder sling attachments. (Very useful). If you want to get crazy, you can also put on a threaded silencer. I think you will be very happy with that purchase. I too have the one with a magnesium slide and bolt, and it is compact, laser line accurate, with about 120ft accurate range, and hard shooting.

Its ok... i just finished the basic bolt/firing design for my FAGAR, or Fully Automatic Gas Airsoft Rifle....

i used a part of a nerf magstirke, kinda simplified things. through my testing it shoots about 380 FPS with a bliteringly high rate of fire..... ill post it when it doesnt have to be attatched to a slew of vice grips, rubber bands, and clamps to operate.

im going to use it as my primary, and i have to invest in at least a speed loader now. the gun empties a 20 round mag in under a second................

lets just say its the fully plastic, long-barreld equevalent to the M-11. (EVERYTHING inside the FAGAR is plastic...... even the bolt. might have to replace it eventually, seeing as a nerf gun is at 50 PSI and im running the thing at 140...........

LOL!! Yeah my m-11 fires at 1000rpm, or 16.6rps. Very fast, empties my 45rnd clip in about 4 seconds.

EDIT: Oh wait, nvm, I did that math and it is 2.7!!!

yeah, i think the FAGAR lives up to that...... execpt the FAGAR runs off an external gass tank (coleman propane cylinder) like a classic gun, so you just switch the mags out like an AEG, no gas mag filling neccecary......

Very cool. BTW, has anyone here heard of this gun?

I know it has a high fps, and it is has high cap, but how accurate is it? Reliable? I am asking for an airsoft gun on my birthday, and this one looked really good.

ooooo from reviews ive read that is a VERY good gun.....

theres a reason it has a big long waever rail and no iron sights........

i guess its up to you to find out. with a barrel that long, im pretty sure you wont be dissapointed..

im the kind of dude that likes to jump out and just spray ammo at people to make them freak while the more nimble kid on my team takes them out with his sniper........

Sweet!! I'm definitely asking for it then!

BTW, I said lol up there out of sheer delight, and i was laughing about the nerf part.

I guess I should have used this, and been a little more specific.

haha. ill post the rifle soon. im currently manufacturing the receiver, im getting it battle-ready for an airsoft skirmish on saturday........

hopefully the nerf valve wont commit suicide.......... or any of the other parts..........

thinking of it, ill just use it between rounds as a "you made that?" gun..... i need more clips before i use it in battle. they sell 180 round hi-caps for the UTG shotgun, ill pick myself up 3-4 of those...........

Just a random question that has always bugged me when I read about airsoft stuff, how does one "die" in the game?

this same kind of thing with the aegs happen to me when my freind bought a green gas semi. it compleatly took the fun out of the game for me because the rest of us with springers had no chance over some one with 20 yards more rane than us. we played 5on 2 and the gas gun still won

ps shownomercy often youll just set a number of hits and people are honest about when they get hit

well, lukemec, the question isnt range, its accuracy. if you can pick off a torso sized target from 50 feet consistently with your springer, and the gas gun can hit a soda can from 50 feet, hes going to be hitting people ALOT more.

also, a reletavely good GNBB (gas non-blowback) only cost 50 bucks. just look it up on shortyusa. they also dont use much gas, wich is nice. one charge of gas will get you through 3-4 clips worth of BB's.

plus, GNBB's are FAR more powerful than gas blowbacks, and also more accurate.

honestly, Airsoft is kind of like real millitary defense. youve always gotta have the better technology..........

also, if you dont want a gas gun, just make rules for the gas gun like that he gets out after 1 hit where everyone else gets out after 3 or something.

And In airsoft wars, the way you "die" is you get hit with a BB. there are various ways to play it, but usually getting hit with a BB means death......
