ok me and my dad have been playing guitar for about 2 years now. i started out using his acoustic he bought and so we went about 9 months sharing it and finaly i got my own on Christmas. i got a cool epiphone faded SG red with a hard case. It was a starter guitar so i didnt mind that it wasnt the greatest but recently i have been looking for a nice up grade. and i found it my guitar teacher was selling his "old" (it was in perfect condition) parker guitar. i played it once and fell in love with it. so i bought it and now i have a nice peice of guitar to play for jazz band next year so here it is

The electric is A S-400 my dad knew a left handed guitarist who bought a right one. I think he had some nerve problem and couldn't play left. so he bought the guitar tried didnt work for him. So my dad and i bought it of him.

The acoustic is a takamine, i got this one when i wanted to start playing. ive had it about 3.

Parkers are pretty nice. Good find, man. You should get years of use out of it if you take care of it.

Don't forget to set-up the guitar for your own use (thicker/thinner strings depending on how strong your hands are, straighten the truss rod, etc...). If you don't know how, pick up a book called "The Ultimate Guitar Handbook". It tells you how to do all your own customizing and tune-up work on your axes.

I play a 1984 US-made Fender Strat. I love that guitar much more than I should. I use 12 gauge strings and a Fender Deluxe half-stack tube amp.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

haha band names. i was sitting in math class coming up with band names with my friend that plays bass and the teacher was talking about radicles (you know like square rout signs and such) then i drew the pi symbol in a radicle so our new "band name" is radicle pi just because it sounds cool

Very nice guitar. I don't really like the Parkers just mainly due to the body shape. They play great, but I'll take my Strat or an Iceman over that anyday.

Good deal!

I also play bass. I love it! I play funk rock and a bit of old phychadelic rock. I play an Ibanez btb 200, which is pretty decent.

Actually I like any song that doesn't hold the beat with a guitar. I like sngs with the complicated bass lines that don't just hold the beat. But my favorite songs are Iron Man, You Really Got Me, and Woman.
If you haven't heard of them here are the links to the videos.

IRON MAN:
