I was joking around with my friend as we were walking along the edge of this farmer's field, at 5:30 pm, and It was getting dark. I knew there was an in-tree hunting blind ahead. jokingly, I told my friend that we should get our angle grinders and a generator and cut the ladder off of the blind 3/4 of the way up. I said this just as we passed it. to my horror he put his hand on my chest, to stop me, and looked into the edge of the woods. the dude was up there, sitting up in the blind with a frickin' 30-6. I freaked out, and walked briskly past until I was out of his sight, then hightailed it home.  :!:

within that same area, I almost got shot by a hunter out illegally at 11:30 pm a couple weeks ago. me and that same friend were deep into the woods, a 1/2- 3/4 mile from my house, and we were in a huge patch of pines, surrounded by huge gnarled old trees, when we heard a twig snap. I looked up, to my horror, and saw a hunter looking at us. I dunno where the gun was pointing, but from the glint of the spots of moon on the gun that got through, I could of sworn It was pointing at us. I could swear I sprinted that entire 3/4 mile home, assisted by adrenaline.

WOW! That would have sucked to get shot. That first story made me laugh! I dont like walking around in the woods during hunting seasoon and when I have to I bring my hunters Orange along with me.

A friend and I got kicked out of a grocery store because we where asking for money in front of it. The manager came out and asked us to leave. We then went home and got the couple of cents we needed and bought some waffles. THey where tasty.

Once on a 4-wheeler (it was my first time driving any motor vehicle) I spead up way to fast because I didnt know how sensitive the trottle is and almost threw me and my aunt off the back. Im not alowed to use them any more

Seeing the dirt bike accident thread reminded me of this one...
One day when the streets iced over and schools were closed, me and some friends were feeling stupid so we decided to go biking on some ice. We found this nice, downhill alley, so we decided to race down it. (I told you we were stupid!) We were all going at full speed (on ice) when I start skidding around from pedaling too much. I acidentally squeezed my front brake just as my tire went over this dry area of cement. My bike was fine, it kinda half spun-half fell, but I flew over my handlebars. (It's actually fun) I somehow managed to hit my friend and knock him of his bike. I escaped with a jammed finger and a sore neck (yeah I am really lucky) but my friend who I hit broke his arm on a tree and got pretty scratched up. What did I learn from this? I just say I'm glad I wore my helmet, which afterwards sported a big dent.

I have gone over my handle bars many times. A couple weeks ago I was trying a new trick where you jam you foot on you front tire to do a forward wheely and kick the bike around you. I did it once and tried agian starting faster and flew foward.

i went over my handle bars one time and landed in dog crap, it wasn't fun.
And today i was f***in stupid. I went to a basketball game, and afterword drank a whole bunch of nyquil (like 6 times the recomended doasage) and then startede to smoke a primetime in the school van with the rest of the team. sadly our coach caught us and wasn't very amused (espcially by the burn marks on the seat or the fact i couldn't make complete sentences and was sluring my words). but then he took us to hooters and bought me some more primetimes, it was kinda weird.

Any one ever been chased by wild dogs? I have stupid thing I did was after I beat them off I was kind of near a cliff (well not realy a cliff but it was REALY steep) any ways I ran for the edge and jumped grabbing for a tree that grew out of the side missed the branch fell about 25 feet into 6 foot high blackberry thicket (I was 5 foot or so and yes I have bad experences with blackberry bushes). The dogs did not come down after me though after sitting there a bit (It was hollow in the center) I work my way out sore and tired after that I limped home snuck into my room change and treated my wounds. Mom and Dad never knew, and after that I took my home made bow out there with me every time. Moral of this story dont jump for a tree like that.

I bet everyone here that I have done something more stupid then you! I Guarantee it.

This one is my stupidest... It happened when I was about 10

You know in shopping centers how sometimes they have 2 escalators next to each other so they form a cross if you look at it from the side... Like This...

The one on the left bottom goes up to top right and the one on the bottom right goes up to top left? If you know what I mean.

Well I was going down the one that goes down (Duhh) and I saw the handrail of the other one... I held onto it and planned to let go. It didn't happen that way lol. It lifted up up then I wanted to let go but I looked down and I was already up pretty high. So I just rode the handrail up while standing on the other side. Then at the end I just hopped the rail and looked down. I was so high and there I saw my mum almost shitting herself. hahahaha good times.

EDIT: Here is a picture of the escalator setup I'm talking about. Cept they were a bit closer. http://www.moscone.com/uploads/multimed ... or%202.JPG

oh yeah, one time, I rode a sled down this rutted out hill that had ruts 9 1/2 feet deep in it. it was crazy. I well ride my dirtbike out there later after we go shopping for my mom's stocking stuffers.

and I will explain it better.

oh yeah, two days ago, I went way back to the of top of the hill I sledded down. I dug a trench leading from this 2 foot deep pond on the top, down this like 200 foot tall hill. well actually, just to the edge of the flat part on the top of the hill. anyway, I probably, because of the rocks that knocked stuff loose as they went down the hill, moved over 1000 pounds of dirt. I made the trench 12 feet deep. you will see what I am talking about in the pictures.

Oh man, when I moved into my new 2-story house, I was young and stupid and we a had a lot of boxes laying around. So box+stupid kid+carpet stairs=pain. There is a gap a couple yards between the bottom of the stairs and the back door, so I opened it *just in case*. Well, I went a lot faster than I expected, and my box got tangled up somethere near the bottom, so I flew out my back door and got really scratched up on my back patio (it's that kind of cememnt with pebbles mixed in it).

And when I was even younger (7 maybe?) I was playing around near a recliner chair. But it wasn't a normal one. You would push a button, and the footrest would just...pop out. My stupid little sister pushed the button, and my finger got tangled up in these metal rods. I was crying and crying, then I bent my finger (it was kind of on a joint) and saw my bone and nearly fainted. I still have a cool-looking scar though.

And now for another stupid childhood act that still scars me. Around the same age as the previous one, I decided it was fun to spin around with my eyes closed, then run around my living room. As my luck would have it, we has these metal-reinforced drywall corners, one of which I ran right into. I split my forehead right open, and that was probably my bloodiest ordeal. (My hand was completely dripping red, half my face, some on the wall, etc.) I still have a faint but feelable bump there.

Later I'll post some more biking incedents.

OKay, this is how I racked myself when I was younger.
I was teaching myself to ride a two-wheeler in our driveway, but I took a turn too wide and ran full speed into our fence. I slid forward off the seat and landed on the bar in front of the seat. ouch.

Another time I was at my friend's house and we were riding near this creek with kinda steep walls. We decided it would be fun to ride down into the creek. He started going diagnally down the wall, but I though going straight down would be more fun. I started going really fast, and I managed to hit a rock about halfway down. I flew the rest of the way down (man that was so much fun) and landed on my back on a solid rock creek bottom, which knocked the wind outta me pretty good. I had to dive out of the way before my bike hit me. It missed me by like 3 inches.

And to finish off today's post, once I tried to make a little bike ramp in the street because I wanted to do a jump. I stacked up some bricks and put down a board of plywood. I went to the top of my street, faster and faster. I was hoping for some good air, which I got, but my bike wasn't with me. I scraped myself off the street to see what had happened. I had knocked off the plywood when I hit it and my tires got tangled up in the bricks. Probably of of my best flights distancewise.

Oh and guess what? I've never sprained or broken anything :D I think that's why I'm so careless.

1: Climbed a 20m pole at school and fell and landed on my ass.
2: Was scootering along in Aussie(Maloolabaa(sp?) and hit a brick and the scooter ripped my face open and some idiot told me to put my hand over it to stop the bleeding and I got blood all over my hand and clothes and all over our hotels walls
3:layed down on a skateboard and pushed myself down one huge hill and the trucks came of and i face planted into concrete

no broken bones........yet
