snd PS in pneumatics the pressure of the air condenses Dihydrogen Monoxide vapour out of the air and so they are dangerous too.

OMG!   My gun is more deadly due to DHMO than it is due to projectiles traveling at 600 feet per second!

Just kidding.

If my IQ was only two digits, I might have fallen for that! That would be a good joke to pull! I'm going to try it on all of the environmentalist hippies at school!

And where is your proof of that? 600fps is a pretty big claim, and i cant seem to find a link to your gun, have you posted it?

I used the GGDT to estimate the speed (No chronograph for me... :( ). The results might have been skewed somehow, but I was conservative on the gun parameters, such as pilot volume and seat diameter, (It's an un-modified solenoid valve), so I think it's reasonably accurate. If I discover how to upload stuff to the internet due to me being a computer ignoramus, I'd be more than happy to post the gun. If you'd like to test it yourself, it's the same design as the PSR-01 on PVC Ballistics. Is 600fps really fast for a spudgun? I don't really know what a reasonable speed would be, as I haven't built many spudguns. If my estimate was wrong, oh well, I suck! :D

600fps for an un-modified sprinkler valve pneumatic isn't gonna happen, even for a modded valve that is pretty damn fast.

Oh well... I know it's much faster than a paintball, though, by at least 100 fps. Would 400 to 550 be reasonable? HOLY CRAP I want a chronograph! Then I'll know for sure! Does anyone have the parameters for a 1 inch inline solenoid for the GGDT? I tried to find them, but I couldn't. Thanks in advance!

The parameters for an unmodded sprinkler valve are on D_Halls site.

Thanks!! Does the brand of valve have any significant impact on performance, such as guide rods weighing down the diaphragm or something? My valve is Nelson.
