you could fill bowling balls with paint. other than that, i think it would be very hard to do.

What's wrong with just buying them off the net?

I can get about 3000 for £20-30 depending on quality (but you'll never get that sort of deal at a field) - which equates to 1 pence or less per ball.

Trying to make them yourself will use up much more time and money than anything else.

Use poster paint because its a water based paint, its cheap, very liquid and can wash out.
wikipedia says: wrote:Paintballs, also simply called "paint", are spherical gelatin capsules containing primarily polyethylene glycol, other non-toxic and water-soluble substances, and dye
EDIT: or you could just use those bath balls, the fragrance things. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Just get your mother/father/guardian to do it for you.

Why don't you just make your own paint grenades. All you need is the surgical tubing, washable paint, a few zip ties, and a pin.

Don't bother trying to make them, it would be too hard for one of us to make something that doesn't hook when it's shot from being deformed.

Don't they sell paintballs around where you live? I'm sure that if your parents are OK with you having a paintball gun, or something to fire paintballs, they would be OK with buying you paint. Either that, or say you'll just shoot bolts at the stray cats 8)

As for money orders, you just find a place that sells them (post offices, grocery stores, etc) and say you need one for $xx.xx and give them the money plus the nominal fee they charge, usually around $.25 (pretty cheap if you don't know the U.S. money system). Then you just send it, and they cash it like a check.
They also have prepaid debit cards, at least over here. You put money on it, and you can buy stuff online just like if it were a regular credit card.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.
