Depends on how well made.

Google something like "disposable camera spy coil gun BB".

There is a site out there that will sell you plans to convert a disposable camera into a "spy" coil gun that fires BBs. The barrel is hidden in the camera and the muzzle is where the camera's lens was. They have a video showing the "camera" shooting a BB and knocking over a Scrotch tape dispenser at a range of 2 or 3 feet.

Thats so cool. Yeah, in art Im planning a fat exhibition for final year that involves spudguns, its going to be insane. When I exhibit I will post a topic though.
Everyone in my grade has this "respect" for me because I have massive arm muscles (which arent actually that strong, but look great!) because I cycle, so they just pop out; and I build spudguns! :D

lol I got no muscle what so ever. I think its just the fact that when I once lost it I almost stabbed a kid

lol you guys are just abit crazy... although these two kids were shooting spit balls at me for the whole of maths class so i thought of a way to get back at them.... im in the process (sp?) of making a hot glue piston for 3/4" pipe

BTW nice job on the catapault :P

I was meaning what did Twich try stab the dude with, but its all good. That piston gun sounds pretty awesome though, how far are you with it?

How far am I.... hmmm i have made the piston, have the barrel, have the schrader valve, pilot valve. Not the chamber and mabye some other things i dont have which i forgot.... but im not sure if ill take it to school because if i get caught with it i would get like suspended or expeled :(

Ja, I wouldnt, its not worth the risk. Thats why I took the catapult, because its less serious or "gun-like". Are you going to make it a coaxial?

Posted: Fri Aug 10, 2007 2:59 am
by wannabie
yeah a coaxle is what im aiming for but I might make it in a T i'll have to see what the have at the hardware tommorow. :P

LOL, yeah. I like both coaxials and T's, but I'd have to sway towards coaxial on this gun because of it's small(ish) barrel... although a T would be cool too... Which do you prefer?

well i prefer coaxials because i have only made one piston gun and it was a coaxle and i think they are more compact.
