Nice swearing JSR!
:D

It indeed exceeds my expectations....

The best cannon I've ever built.Even my wife likes it.
She never liked any before...so that's a big succes!

Now, I still need to make the barrel band, or support if you will.( edit: done)
I have put a triggerguard on there, but that's nothing special.
I'll replace it with a better one first chance I get.

Nice. It might even be good enough to make Gary Barnes jealous.

It's extremely sensitive.. :D
And it's a sharp contrast to the deep boom coming out of the muzzle.

That's like music to my ears..
certainly makes Mrs. BtB look ready to kick some ass
You should hear her talk....
good enough to make Gary Barnes jealous
Still the other way around I'm afraid...I wish I had his workshop...

I love the shiny stock! Wow, can't wait to see the video!!
And.... do you have a link or some explanation to how the valve works?
I'm guessing you are using a spring to reset the QEV?

This is a masterpiece!!!

The trigger and hammer action is so smooth.

I'm seriously on my toes waiting for a firing video.

The valve works basically like the one in it"s predessesor.
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... tml#188632

The idea works up to unregged CO2 pressure, as I have tested, above that the QEV might explode.
It just needed one hell of a hit to fire.

The bottom picture should make things clear. For the T bolt I just positioned the hammer valve differently and turned the QEV 90 degrees. As seen here:

Here you can see the original simpler set up.
A hammer valve (homemade) actuates a QEV, wich has a spring to reset it and a small equalisation hole in the piston. It can be filled ( and thus reset) from chamberside now.
