VERY nice rifle. I can't get bike pumps to go past 300 PSI without them breaking, though. Is this going to be a contest entry?

I love it!
I still think you should have used something else as your pilot.
But either way it must be fun to shoot.

you need one of these:

Image and a girlfriend*

*because once you're done pumping to 400psi, there's no way you'll have enough energy left for any self-indulgence you might have been planning :D

i am in the stages of hacking a blowgun around to fit in a custom grip kindof like the copperhead prime gun by hotwired. until then though this will have to do.

meh mini pump, the fact that it says 300psi max not 300psi rated turns me off it a little im also making a 16mm bore pump from the plans that b the b
posted.

oh and a girlfriend aye?? well i do mate what are ya getting at i got no time for that crap :? ?? huh well if ya want to know the build time of this thing it was 4 hours.

I have the exact same model and I've been taking it to 400 psi+ (well off the gauge...) for years now, the only maintenance I've ever had to do is a few cents worth of O-rings on the piston.

Re: the g/f comment, I meant you'll need one because after using the pump you won't have any strength left in your arms :P

haha nice sense of humour jack! and which footy team do you support chaos?

So chaos, for what prices have you seen decent pumps that are 300+psi rated? I came across a similiar one to what jack put up, for like $60 ($Aus of course!), with a gauge that went to 300psi, unsure if it was rated to that or not.

Anyway, back to the original topic; it's a very, very nice looking gun, and seems very functional also. So if you did actually decide to paint it, what colour would you do it?

the one i saw was a motorbike shock pump it was about $180 AUD rated for about 450psi

I support the kangaroos man but unfortunately it aint exactly our year.

you could always make your own like b the b did.

Yeah, i got one.

When you use marbles as an ammo, are they a snug fit on their own? or do they need wadding?

I Only asked because I have 16 mm I.D conduit, and I have to use wadding (mintie wrappers) to stop the marble rolling out the barrel.

Cheers.
