Hey crna, quick question. For your blade, what did you use to make it? (the new one of course.) Where did you get the metal and stuff? I may make a pvc blade just as a saftey, that way I dont accidently shoot me self and it kills me.

lol pvc will brake first shot.

I found the steel at home, my dad buys random bit from off cut and stuff its way cheaper and sometimes they just give it to you. Then i used a angle grinder to cut the rough shape and refined it on the bench grinder.

Yeah, thats why I want to use it, so it wont be able to be used more than once. I will take a look around and see what I can dig up, and if I cant dig anything up, I will grap a piece of an old metal tent pole from my grandfather, smash it down, and then use his grinder to get rid of the paint and stuff.

Nice, is that one spring loaded? Or air? Also, quick question about your first one, did you just plug off the very end of it, or the entire plug?

The latch itself seems plenty strong to me. The ring wich holds it would be the first to fail.

this one is air as well, but it could be spring powered as well , if your talking about the female quick connect, yes i filled the hole thing.

thanks, the latch is 3mm thick alu but if it does break i can make one out of stainless steel

idea, 12g c02 cart, that is opened when you push a button, and the blade is separated from the chamber by a burst disk.

Push button, c02 enters chamber, pops burst disk, blade goes fooooosh! thunk!
would this design have any possible advantages?
